Report On the Fifth Session Of The Cervical Cancer Screening Program – 20/11/10

The fifth session of the community cervical cancer screening by visual inspection with acetic acid [VIA] was carried out at Ansar-ud-deen central mosque at 10 Ige Street Alimosho on 20th November 2010. It was conducted by four medical doctors and three nurses under the aegis of MRH Research Collective and NURTURE Health Services and Solution.

The fourth session of community cervical cancer screening by visual inspection with acetic acid [VIA] was carried out at Onigbongbo Public Health centre at 24 Araromi Street Onigbongbo on 22nd August 2009. It was conducted by four medical doctors and three nurses under the aegis of MRH Research Collective and NURTURE Health Services and Solution.

Report On The Third Session Of The Cervical Cancer Screening Program – 11/7/09

The third session of community cervical cancer screening with visual inspection with acetic acid [VIA] was carried out at Onigbogbo Public Health centre at number 24 Araromi Street Onigbogbo on 11th of July 2009. It was conducted by four medical doctors and three nurses under the aegis of MRH Research collective and NURTURE Health Services and Solution. The program commenced at 11:30 am.

Report On The Second Session Of The Cervical Cancer Screening Program – 16/5/09

20th July 2015

The second session of community cervical cancer screening with visual inspection with acetic acid [VIA] was carried out at Onigbogbo Public Health centre at Kudirat Abiola road, Oregun on 16th May 2009. It was conducted by five medical doctors and a nurse under the aegis of MRH Research collective and NURTURE Health Services and Solution.
Community women were given health talk by program coordinator Dr. B .B. Afolabi, as it relates to general and reproductive health issues. There was an interactive Question and Answer session, where various reproductive healths related questions were discussed.

Preliminary Reports on Community Cervical Screening Program – 7/2/09

20th July 2015

The program was kicked off by opening prayers and speeches by the local government chairman, Honourable Idowu Obasa.
Summary of speeches delivered involved the need for better health services for women and the great opportunity presented by Dr.Afolabi and the MRH group. All inhabitants of the community were encouraged to partake in the exercise as it could lead to better quality of life for them.
